I still found some energy to redesign my blog theme. This new design looks a bit more like me. Link to my blog can be found from my previous post. After this post, I just have to get couple of photos and it’s summer again. Yes, heading back to Europe soon. But before that, just a little 6 weeks holiday in Bali, Thailand, Vietnam, Kambodja, Borneo, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. I like holidays, don’t you?

I customized a Tumblr blog, because I didn’t want to pay for developing a WordPress theme.
I didn’t do any too radical changes, so I concentrated on redesigning an existing theme instead of starting from the stratch.
Mostly I just changed the sizes and positions of the elements. And the colours of course.
Oh, looks like I’m not too diligent blogger. But anyways, here is link to my StoneFest site.
I chose these five sites.
These are the 7 characteristics.
1. All of them have nice graphics with fresh colours or in one case grayscale. Exception might be Sonar site, but that one is included, cause it’s a music festival and therefore relevant to our project.
2. All sites have their logos visible on site . On the other hand these can be left/right and up/down.
3. Design/architecture sites have quite similar navigation systems, where you first choose the project and then have a closer look of that project. Where as music festival sites have traditional division into tickets, artists, maps, news.. and selecting these you get more information.
4. Most of these sites have some kind of animation going on.
5. Only one of these sites have search function.
6. All these sites have been meant for young urban people, who are interested in music, art and design.
7. Music festival sites have music on their sites. Reasonable?
Now it’s done, first blog post ever for me. Have nothing to say yet, though. Too tired and hungry after fireworks and 128 floorplans, that I just finished and sent back to Finland.
